GENERAL FORMAT                                                                                                              
NYYC Race Week at Newport presented by Rolex will consist of TWO different segments to offer great racing opportunity to a wide variety of sailors.  Entry is open to yachts with a minimum LOA of 25 feet in IRC, PHRF, Classics, 12 Metres or One-Design classes. One-design classes and handicap classes will be permitted to enter with a minimum of eight entries or at the discretion of the Organizing Authority.
Skippers looking for crew or crew looking for a ride can list their information on the NYYC Crew Finder.

PART I - One-Designs, Classics, 12 Metres, PHRF

July 17-18
Classics (part of the NYYC Classic Series) 
PHRF (PHRF of NB rating up to 135)
12 Metre Class Newport Trophy
One-Design classes

July 17-19

J/105 East Coast Championship

One-Design class championships (classes should call the Sailing Office to set up a 3-day or 4-day event)  

PART II - U.S. IRC Nationals

July 21-24

All yachts with a current IRC certificate will participate in the U.S. IRC Nationals.  Yachts racing in Part I are encouraged to enter.  A distance race is scheduled to be run as part of the Nationals.
