re you short on crew for the NYYC Annual Regatta presented by Rolex? Or the NYYC Race Week at Newport presented by Rolex? Ever want to crew on a classic or a hot new racing machine? The New York Yacht Club announces the launching of a new web feature: “CrewFinder.” The program is simple and allows any sailor to add his or her name to its new Crew List; it is available to both yacht owners who list the events for which they are seeking crew and to crewmembers who are seeking opportunities to sail.
 
CrewFinder is an easy one-stop listing that covers all the major regattas for the year. Access it on the NYYC's web site, (http://nyyc.org/ and then go to the drop-down menu under Yacht Racing) or on the web pages for major events at the NYYC. Or CLICK HERE.)
 
Once your submission is processed by the Sailing Office, it will be published, enabling skippers and crews alike to view the available lists. Entries can be sorted by regatta and up-dated on an ongoing basis. The latter feature should keep the crew list fresh in terms of interest and availability. Beyond NYYC events, there are a number of regional regattas listed that might be of interest.
