At the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland
Through the efforts of Joseph Huber, the Cruising Committee is sponsoring a Mid-Atlantic Rendezvous for members, spouses and guests on Saturday evening, March 17th on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The evening will start off with a tour of the USNA Museum at 1800 with cocktails and dinner following at 1930. The dinner program will include an update on the Naval Academy's offshore and intercollegiate sailing programs. Our last Mid-Atlantic Rendezvous in Washington was a great success and we expect this year's rendezvous will enable members to experience the wonderful traditions of the Naval Academy as well as reconnect with fellow NYYC members living in Washington, Baltimore and other parts of the Mid-Atlantic region.
Members should use Gate 8 off Rt. 450 and park in Lot "P" to the right of Alumni Hall before proceeding to Preble Hall for a tour of the USNA Museum at 1800. A photo ID is needed for entry to the Naval Academy grounds.
