3-on-3 in Sonars with spinnakers
GENERAL FORMAT
Eight yacht clubs will be invited to send three-boat teams to compete in the 2010 Morgan Cup. NYYC's fleet of 13 Sonars will be used with 3 or 4 crew per boat. The goal will be to complete three round-robins over the three day regatta.
The Morgan Cup was presented by the members of the New York Yacht Club to J. P. Morgan as a token of esteem and a mark of appreciation of his service to the club as Commodore, 1919-1921 and is dedicated as the perpetual award for the winning team of the New York Yacht Club Morgan Cup Team Race Invitational.
