NYYC RACE WEEK at NEWPORT

CLASSICS REGATTA and OLIN J. STEPHENS 100th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
This regatta will be the first weekend of NYYC Race Week at Newport presented by Rolex. Handicap and One-Design classes will race in the latter part of the week and can find information and forms specific to that segment on the Handicap & One-Design website.
Skippers looking for crew or crew looking for a ride can list their information on the NYYC Crew Finder.
RACING LOCATIONS FOR SUNDAY, JULY 20
BLUE COURSE - Rendezvous Area R in the vicinity of Halfway Rock - 12 Metres (VHF 72)
GREEN COURSE - Rendezvous Area K between Rose and Goat - CRF Classes 1-4; 6 Metres; Herreshoff 'S' Class (VHF 78) [NOTE: the plan is for the CRF classes to sail the Around-the-Island Course]
REGISTRATION
All yachts must register at the NYYC Sailing Center during the times indicated below in the Schedule. Regatta bags, scratch sheets, backstay flags, hats, etc. will be distributed at registration. ALL crew members must sign a LIABILITY WAIVER that shall be turned in to the Sailing Office.

OLIN STEPHENS' BIRTHDAY PARTY
July 19 from 1800-2200 - this dinner dance is part of the Classics Weekend at Race Week and celebrates Olin J. Stephens' 100th Birthday. Tickets must be purchased in advance. The online reservations have closed. Please call the Special Events office directly at 401-845-9476 to make your reservations. You do NOT have to be sailing in the regatta to come celebrate Olin's 100th birthday.
