2021 One-Design Regatta

2021 NYYC ONE-DESIGN REGATTA CANCELED

After significant consideration of all available models and forecasts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the regatta this weekend in light of Hurricane Henri. The storm's track, while still variable, poses considerable threats to the area this weekend and we want to ensure the safety of all participants and assets.

All entry fees will be refunded in the manner that they were paid.

The 2022 NYYC One-Design Regatta is tentatively scheduled for August 27-28 so please mark your calendars and join us next year!

The NYYC One-Design Regatta was first run in 2017 and is focused on one-design keelboat classes in which NYYC members actively participate. Since then, this event has evolved into a premiere one-design regatta and continues to grow in both fleet size as well as number of interested fleets. At this time, the following classes are invited to participate. Any classes interested in participating should contact the Sailing Office.

Regatta Socials

We are happy to announce that Saturday evening's Regatta BBQ will be brought to you by Cadre, our newest regatta partner. Reservations are required, but food and drink are on them! Cocktails begin at 1800 and food service will start at 1900.

On Sunday, immediately following racing, awards will be presented under the tent. Light appetizers will be served. No RSVP required.
