New York Yacht Club is excited to host the second Great Grandmasters Team Race. This inaugural event in 2025 was an absolute hit so we are looking forward to a repeat of that energy this year. Competitive team racing combined with fun socials and camaraderie, on and off the water, is a win-win, no matter one's age!

The regatta will take place at Harbour Court, August 27-28, 2026, and include six teams from across the country. The format is 3v3 in the Club's fleet of Sonars. Each helmsperson must be at least 70 years of age, and crew must be a minimum of 60. Per the Notice of Race, Club membership is a requirement, but there are no gender or weight requirements. Spinnakers will not be used. Entry is by invitation.
