2023 NYYC Grandmasters
Newport, R.I.
The 2023 NYYC Grandmasters Team Race Regatta, now in its thirteenth running, will consist of 10 teams and 3 days of racing. Competitors will sail in Sonars with 3 to 5 sailors per boat. Skippers must be at least 60 years of age and shall not have skippered in either the 2023 Morgan Cup or 2023 Hinman Masters. Each crew member must be at least 50 years of age. This regatta is targeted to offer continuing high-level competition to the large number of experienced veteran team racers.
Entry is by invitation. Interested teams should submit the Request for Invitation along with a team resume no later than February 24, 2023. The Commodore Stewart Cup, first awarded to the yacht Seven Seas in 1938, was rededicated in 2010 to be awarded to the winner of the NYYC Grandmasters Team Race Regatta.

WAIVER - A waiver must be submitted for all crew prior to racing. Boats will not be scored unless all waivers have been received.

The 2023 Grandmasters Regatta Dinner will be held on Saturday, August 19. Open bar at 1830; plated dinner at 1930. $130 per ticket - RSVP required.
