2023 Hinman Masters
Newport, R.I.
Yacht Club teams will be invited to compete in the 2023 Hinman Masters in Sonars with 3 to 5 sailors per boat. Skippers must be at least 45 years of age. Each crew member must be at least 40 years of age. Entry is by invitation. Interested teams should submit the Request for Invitation along with a team resume no later than February 24, 2023.
The winning team will be presented with the Commodore George R. Hinman Masters Invitational Trophy — the NYYC's Masters team-racing championship. The trophy was rededicated in 1999 by Commodore George M. Isdale in recognition of George R. Hinman's commitment to sailing and friendly competition. The first regatta was held in 2000.

WAIVER - A waiver must be submitted for all crew prior to racing. Boats will not be scored unless all waivers have been received.

The 2023 Hinman Masters Regatta Dinner will be held on Saturday, August 12. Open bar at 1830; plated dinner at 1930. $130 per ticket - RSVP required.
