Public Tours
The New York Yacht Club offers public tours of the Model Room at the New York City club house and the exterior grounds of Harbour Court in Newport, RI the last Tuesday of each month, with the exception of August and December in New York, and January and August at Harbour Court.
Tours are limited to 15 people and reservations are required in advance.
Tours begin promptly at 10:00am and last approximately 20 - 30 minutes.
New York Yacht Club's Pertinent House Rules:
It is very important that you are aware of these rules which are enforced by the staff members.
- Dress Code - Proper dress is required at all times. Tasteful casual attire is permitted on tours. Blue jeans, denim clothing, t-shirts and shorts are not permitted. Gentlemen must wear a collared shirt and slacks, ladies in similar appropriate attire.
- The use of portable electronic devices is not permitted. These devices must stay in your bag or pocket. Calls may not be taken during the tour.
- Photography and video are not permitted on the tour.
