2025 NYYC TEAM RACING KICKOFF
May 3-4, 2025
Newport, R.I.
Purpose of the Event:
- Kick off the 2025 season by raising the collective “game” of the NYYC team racers through professionally coached practices and competitive racing
- Improve teams and individuals understanding of team racing strategy, ability to execute “plays” and boat handling in race conditions
- Give team racers the opportunity to improve and compete with the Club’s top talent
- Provide team racers the opportunity to learn about on-the-water umpiring in a safe learning environment
- Build the NYYC Team Racing community’s camaraderie through Corinthian sailing and a great Saturday night party
Who the Kickoff is for:

Teams that are representing the club in the:
- Women’s 2v2
- Morgan Cup
- Hinman Master
- Grandmasters
- Great Grandmasters
- Sailors who want to participate in Team Racing regattas in 2025/26*
- Experienced racers who want to apply their skills in Team Racing
- Teams are encouraged to register as full boats of four or five sailors
- Racers who are not part of a team will be organized into teams. We will endeavor to match competitive levels and desired crew positions

- 2025 Team Race Interest Form - All sailors must also complete this form to participate
- Team Rosters
WAIVER - A waiver must be submitted for all crew prior to racing. Boats will not be scored unless all waivers have been received.
