The entry system will open in June 2018. The owner/skipper must be a member of an invited club, but there are no restrictions on club affiliation for crews. The NYYC will not be involved in the charter, dockage or mooring process under any circumstances.

July is an extremely busy time in Newport and arrangements for housing crew and family should be made early. Newport and the surrounding communities offer a wide range of accommodation options from larger hotels, to small B&Bs, to private homes. Newport area logistics information can be found on the regatta website and the city’s tourism website: www.discovernewport.org.

As you may be aware, the NYYC has sponsorship relationships with a number of brands, and some of the classes attending have corporate partners as well. We want to make certain that we provide the best possible experiences for all corporate partners and avoid any prospective conflicts of interest. Consequently, please note that any and all branding and sponsorship activity at the 175th Annual Regatta, including sponsorship by a brand of a particular class, must be coordinated with and approved by the New York Yacht Club in advance. This includes bow stickers, boom stickers and other signage/display on yachts. If you anticipate soliciting or having corporate partnership for the 175th Annual Regatta, or if you have any questions regarding this process, please contact Bill Lynn at 617-529-5832 or [email protected]
